LEGO released the first Marvel Super Heroes BrickHeadz sets alongside DC Super Heroes BrickHeadz in 2016 as San Diego Comic Con exclusive items. These Comic Con exclusive sets are the first ever BrickHeadz sets made by LEGO. The Comic Con exclusive Marvel Super Heroes BrickHeadz sets from 2016 and 2017 are very rare and sought after by collectors, fetching around $800+ per new and sealed set, as of August 2022.
