LEGO Deadpool isn’t easy to come by, whether you’re looking for a Deadpool minifigure or a LEGO set themed around the character. A LEGO Deadpool minifigure appears only in one single LEGO Set: 6866 Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown from 2021. Heck, he’s even one of the most difficult characters to unlock in the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game. What gives?

6866 Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown (2012)
Deadpool debuted as a LEGO minifigure in the 2012 set 6866 Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown. In the set, X-Men member Wolverine fights to escape Magneto and Deadpool. Wolverine rides his chopper (i.e. motorcycle) and Deadpool pilots his helicopter. Deadpool is also decked out with accessories in the set including: a crowbar, a katana (sword) and a gun. The set is not based on any Marvel movie content.
Although the set originally retailed for $19.99, Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown is retired and now sells for around $120 to $200 new in box (as of late May 2022).
Not surprisingly, some Deadpool fans purchased this set in 2012 specifically for the coveted Deadpool minifigure. Due to the scarcity of the piece, the Deadpool minifigure has sold for an average price of $32.66 on Bricklink within the last 6 months (as of late May 2022).

Movie Tie-In Sets
LEGO did not produce any Deadpool themed sets for the movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Deadpool (2016) or it’s sequel Deadpool 2 (2018). In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Deadpool becomes an adversary of Wolverine.
Comic-Con Exclusive Deadpool Minifigure Variants
LEGO released two Deadpool minifigure variants: Deadpool Duck (2017) and Sheriff Deadpool (2018). Deadpool Duck is inspired by Deadpool the Duck (2017), a 5-issue comic book miniseries. The miniseries bewilderingly merges together Deadpool and Howard the Duck. Sheriff Deadpool is Deadpool “disguised” as a wild west sheriff complete with a tan cowboy hat and black bushy mustache.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Game (2013)
Released in 2013, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Game follows an all-star group of popular Marvel super heroes in their plight to prevent Loki and other Marvel villains from creating a super-weapon. The good news is Deadpool is a playable character in the game. The bad news is Deadpool is one of the most challenging characters to unlock. Player’s must collect 11 red bricks (aka “Deadpool bricks”) in order to unlock the playable Deadpool character.
Future of LEGO Deadpool
Will LEGO ever release more Deadpool sets? The future of LEGO Deadpool products is unclear. The character and his antics aren’t exactly family friendly. Nevertheless Deadpool, as well as LEGO minifigure versions of the character, are extremely popular among Marvel fans.
