Terec Lightsaber in Star Wars Canon

The Terec lightsaber is comprised of a standard cylindrical metal hilt with gold accents and an s-curve emitter and pommel. The Jedi lightsaber emits a green blade.

Terec serves the Jedi Order during the High Republic era. Around the time of 232 BBY Terec is stationed on the Starlight Beacon space station. The station receives a scrambled distress call from the Kazlin system. Terec, his bond-twin Jedi Ceret, Jedi Master Sskeer and the newly promoted Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis journey to the system to investigate the distress call.

After the group arrives and finds ship wreckage, they don rebreathers, ignite their lightsabers, and begin searching for survivors. They find evidence that Nihil marauders attacked the ships. A lone Nihil marauder attacks Terec. Sskeer kills the attacker. Terec sustains an injury to his arm and receives medical treatment.

Behind the Scenes

The Terec lightsaber first appears in the comic book Star Wars: The High Republic 2 (2021). Terec’s bond-twin Ceret wields a green-bladed lightsaber with an extremely similar, if not identical design. The name “Ceret” is the name “Terec” spelled backwards.
