Shang-Troy Thanabo Lightsaber
Shang-Troy Thanabo is an ancient Jedi Knight. During his travels he feels an extremely powerful surge in the Force near the planet Boranall. He discovers a mother pregnant with identical twin boys. After he helps deliver the two boys, the mother gives Thanabo permission to take the boys off-world and train them as Jedi.
Thanabo raises and trains the two boys on a remote planet. They come to view him as a father. As boys approach adulthood, they travel the galaxy with Shang-Troy Thanabo protecting the innocent and following the path of the Jedi.
During their travels, the younger boy falls in love with a woman who loves him back. The older brother comes to love the same woman and becomes angry and jealous. The older brother poses as the younger brother, tricking the woman into kissing him. The younger brother witnesses the occurrence and becomes angry.
The brothers become increasing angry with each other and begin to physically fight. Feeling a disturbance in the Force, Shang-Troy Thanabo rushes to the scene and tries to calm the brothers down. In the heat of rage, one of the brothers accidentally strikes him down with his lightsaber. After the brothers discover Thanabo is dead, they both become even angrier. The woman they both love pleads with the brothers, but consumed with rage, the brothers ultimately destroy themselves, the woman, and the entire planet itself.
The story of the ancient Jedi Shang-Troy Thanabo and the twin brothers serves to demonstrate to young Jedi the dangers and consequences becoming consumed with emotion.
