The Hasbro Star Wars: The Black Series Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite Lightsaber has been unveiled. The Darksaber, an ancient black-bladed lightsaber, serves as a symbol of leadership to the Mandalorians. The officially licensed lightsaber joins the Star Wars Force FX lightsaber collection, a line of realistic, collectible lightsabers light up, make sound and feature a real metal lightsaber hilt. The Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite lightsaber is the first-ever Star Wars Force FX Elite Lightsaber with a white LED blade edge.

The Hasbro Mandalorian Darksaber includes the detailed metal lightsaber hilt, removable flat blade, barrel plug (for display when the blade is removed), hex key tool, lightsaber stand, rechargeable Li-Ion battery (3.7V 1500mAH LiPo), USB charging cord and instructions.
The Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite lightsaber features realistic lightsaber sound effects and visual effects. A white LED blade edge brings the Darksaber to life! Other visual blade effects include: progressive blade ignition/retraction (lightsaber scrolling effect), battle clash effect, and molten tip effect. The authentic lightsaber sound effects are inspired by the Disney+ The Mandalorian series. Sounds include: power up, power down, and a motion sensor-controlled idle hum and battle clash sounds. Hasbro says the lightsaber is for ages 14 and up.
The Star Wars: The Black Series Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite Lightsaber is available for pre-order as of December 2020. The official release date of the product has not been announced. Earlier in 2020, Hasbro released The Mandalorian Darksaber Electronic Lightsaber, an electronic lightsaber toy recommended for ages 5 and up.
