Korbanth Katarn V2 Lightsaber Released | New Saber Alert

The Korbanth Katarn V2 lightsaber has been released. The custom saber is inspired by the design of Kyle Katarn lightsaber in the video game Dark Forces 2 (constructed by Qu Rahn). The lightsaber is available as an empty hilt suitable for display, cosplay or for an electronics installation. Korbanth also offers the Katarn V2 lightsaber as an installed neopixel saber.

The Korbanth Katarn V2 lightsaber, an aluminum construction, is mostly metallic silver in color with black and copper colored accents, including the the long, copper colored strip down the grip section. The included blade retention screw may secure a 1 inch diameter blade (not included) inside the blade holder. Hilt includes an installed heatsink and two working tactile switches. A D-ring attaches to domed section on the vented pommel.

Korbanth Katarn V2 features a few improvements to it’s predecessor the Katarn V1. The new, V2 hilt features an added D-ring, smoother edges, some improvements to how parts attach together, and a more accommodating internal space for easier installs.

The Katarn V2 hilt may be used for display or as a belt hanger for cosplay. Korbanth Katarn V2 may also accept electronics installs, including neopixel configurations (i.e. Proffieboard or CFX). Korbanth offers some neopixel installed Katarn V2 lightsabers as well.
