Mana Veridi Lightsaber in Star Wars Legends

The Mana Veridi lightsaber is a cylindrical hilt, featuring four horizontal grooves in the grip section, a vented section near the base, and a nob-style pommel. The blade color of the lightsaber is unknown.

Mana Veridi studies the ways of the Force under the guidance of the Jedi Order. She constructs her own lightsaber and ascends to rank of Jedi Knight.

Sometime prior to 32 BBY, Mana Veridi goes on a mission to investigate a disturbance on the Mid Rim planet Kwannot. During the mission, Veridi sends a distress call to the Jedi Order. The Jedi Council dispatches Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi to locate Veridi.

Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi find Mana Veridi in an alley in a city on the planet. Blood drips from a cut on her cheek and from a corners of her mouth. “Qui-Gon?” Veridi says. A red lightsaber blade impales her from behind. The Jedi drops dead to the ground. Bounty hunter Aurra Sing is revealed as Veridi’s assailant. Aurra Sing, a former Jedi Padawan turned bounty hunter, engages Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi in lightsaber combat. Sing eventually flees the scene and takes the Mana Veridi lightsaber as trophy. The Jedi lightsaber joins the Aurra Sing Lightsaber Collection.
