Eldra Kaitis Lightsaber in Star Wars Canon

Before the Battle of Naboo, the Xrexus Cartel, a criminal organization, captures and imprisons Eldra Kaitis. The Cartel sells her at auction. When the industrialist Jee Kra wins the auction, Darth Maul and a hired group of bounty hunters ambush the industrialist’s ship. Maul wants to free her in order to test his lightsaber skills against a Jedi. The ship crash lands on the moon of Drazkel.

On the moon, Maul frees Eldra Kaitis to help fight against their pursuers. Then Jedi Padawan Eldra Kaitis and the Sith Lord Darth Maul engage in a lightsaber duel. Kaitis fearlessly engages in lightsaber combat. She uses the Force to throw her lightsaber, trapping Maul under a pile of rocks. Maul survives and ultimately strikes Kaitis down with a single blow from his lightsaber. Kaitis dies in 32 BBY.
