Lightsaber Rifle in Star Wars Canon

A lightsaber rifle is a weapon comprised of a long-barrelled gun. The user must load a functional lightsaber hilt into an open slot in order to properly use the weapon. Once the lightsaber is installed in the weapon, the lightsaber rifle becomes capable of firing extremely powerful and destructive blasts at an opponent.

Jedi Master Jocasta Nu secures a lightsaber rifle in the Jedi Archives for emergency use. During a confrontation with Darth Vader, Jocasta Nu loads her own lightsaber into a lightsaber rifle as ammunition. She fires the devastatingly powerful weapon at Darth Vader five times.
