Yoshi Raph-Elan Lightsaber in Star Wars Legends
The Yoshi Raph-Elan lightsaber is comprised of a cylindrical metal hilt with a flared emitter and flared pommel. The Jedi lightsaber emits an orange blade.
Shortly after Yoshi Raph-Elan achieves the rank of Jedi Knight, the young Jedi pilots his starfighter away from the Jedi Temple. During the journey, Raph-Elan is shot down and crash-lands on a planet. He manages to activate a rescue beacon and escape the wreckage before the ship explodes.
He finds that a feared conqueror named Lord Gar-Oth rules the planet. Yoshi Raph-Elan meets Princess Lourdes, the heir-apparent to the throne. She tells Raph-Elan that Lord Gar-Oth has killed her father and seized control of the planet. The dictator is making arrangements to marry her in order to secure his power and legitimize his rule. She invites Raph-Elan to attend a ball with her posing as a servant.
At the ball, Yoshi Raph-Elan reveals himself as a Jedi and reaches for his lightsaber. Angered, Lord Gar-Oth orders a droid to kill the Jedi. The Jedi discovers that his lightsaber had been broken during his crash landing. He fights the droid using the Force and hand-to-hand combat. Raph-Elan manages to repair the lightsaber using wiring from the droid. He defeats the droid. In the meantime, Princess Lourdes kills the dictator.
Princess Lourdes reveals she has feelings for Yoshi Raph-Elan. She asks him to return one day when he has matured a bit. A Jedi rescue team arrives and Raph-Elan leaves the planet with them. “I just might be back,” the Jedi tells the pilots.
