The Shen Sabers IGD lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber is inspired by the design of the Ima-Gun Di lightsaber. IGD is a limited run and the first ever custom saber run by Shen Sabers. The IGD lightsaber is a limited run. Pre-Orders for the first run of the IGD lightsaber hilt opened on October 25, 2019. The second run of the hilt, now named Shen Sabers Brave Master (IGD V2), opened for pre-orders on August 4, 2020.

The IGD lightsaber hilt, which is CNC machined, is comprised of an aluminum and brass alloy. IGD is about 10.3 inches long (266 mm). The outside diameter ranges from 33 mm in the grip section to 36 mm in the switch section. The hilt accepts a 1 inch diameter blade.
IGD features a radiator style emitter (a series of five ‘rings’ at the top of the hilt) and two transparent switch plungers that may be illuminated with accent LEDs. The brass grip section and black O-rings accent the mostly metallic silver hilt.
The IGD hilt accepts electronics, supporting either a TRI-CREE LED or neopixel configuration. Shen Sabers Shapeways store offers chassis options in metal or plastic. The hilt is capable of being configuring with a crystal chamber reveal as well.
