The custom sabers companies released sneak peak images of a painted and weathered 3D printed prototype of the Spectre Six lightsaber today. Watto’s Junkyard and Phoenix Props intend to unveil a machined prototype in February 2019 and open the lightsaber run for orders sometime after April 2019.

Spectre Six will feature a predominantly aluminum hilt with some copper and stainless steel accents. The hilt will be colored with anodized segments of green, red, gray and black. Spectra Six will be designed to accommodate a 7/8 inch diameter blade.

The companies will also include all of the necessary components so that both the lightsaber and blaster could actually function (!!). More information about Spectre Six, including additional specs and pricing, will be released in the coming months.

The Ezra Bridger Lightsaber Blaster, sometimes jokingly called the ‘lightsaber stapler’, remains a fan favorite among many Star Wars fans and lightsaber enthusiasts. Spectre Six will be one of the first lightsaber runs by any custom saber company for an Ezra Bridger style lightsaber blaster. Other custom saber companies have likely hesitated in developing an Ezra Bridge style Lightsaber Blaster due to the hilt’s niche appeal, the complexity of the hilt design, and the probable higher than average price point of the finished product (due to the design complexity).

Hasbro had previously released an officially licensed plastic toy Ezra Bridger Lightsaber Blaster. Sabersmith Jevaho Creations had also previously constructed an Ezra Bridger style lightsaber blaster as a one-off commission for a customer in 2017.

Watto’s Junkyard and Phoenix Props are both custom saber companies that are based in Germany. Both companies often release limited runs of niche lightsabers inspired by Star Wars movies and media.
