Saberbay Imp Sword Imperial Knight lightsaber has been released. The custom saber is inspired by the Imperial Knight lightsaber from Star Wars Legends. Designed by Jimmy’s Junk Sabers, Saberbay offers the Imp Sword lightsaber as an empty hilt for display or for a DIY electronics installation. Saberbay released the saber in late May 2023.

Imp Sword is comprised of a machined metal hilt that measures about 12 inches long and has a 1 inch diameter blade socket that measures 2 inches deep (with chassis installed). Empty hilt weighs about 9 oz. The knurled black thumbscrew greeblie on the angled emitter shroud serves as a black retention screw. Hilt features a two-button setup. Two discreet switch actuators are situated on either side of the hilt just below the emitter shroud. The main hilt shroud features a polished aluminum finish. The cutout section in the middle of the hilt reveals a grooved grip section with an anodized matte black finish. Removable pommel features hidden sound venting. If the buyer wishes to wear the hilt, the hilt kit includes necessary parts to add either a D-ring or Covertec wheel to the bottom of the hilt.
Saberbay offers two chassis options for the hilt as well: a standard chassis or a crystal chamber chassis.
