The Darth Vengean lightsaber is a single-bladed red lightsaber wielded by Darth Vengean. Darth Vengean is an Old Republic era human male Sith Lord in Star Wars Legends. He serves the Sith Empire.
A warmongering military leader of the Darth Council, Vengean wants to crush the Republic and get revenge for them forcing the Sith Empire into exile. He takes on Darth Baras later Lord Draahg as his Sith apprentices.

Darth Vengean Lightsaber in Star Wars Legends
During the Cold War, an eleven-year standoff between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, Darth Vengean serves as a military leader on the Dark Council. He creates the foundation of the mysterious Plan Zero, an operation to eliminate Republic military leadership and ultimately reignite a war with the Republic. He tasks Darth Baras, his former apprentice, with enacting the operation. Baras, in turn, dispatches his Sith Warrior apprentice to eliminate the Republic leaders.
By the time of the successful completion of Plan Zero, Darth Vengean had fallen out of favor with the Dark Council. Darth Baras dispatches his apprentice to free Lord Draahg, the Sith apprentice of Vengean. Vengean had discovered Draahg was secretly working for Darth Baras and had taken the apprentice captive.
Baras’ apprentice successfully frees Lord Draahg and the pair confront Darth Vengean. An angry Vengean engages the apprentice of Darth Baras in lightsaber combat. Vengean ultimately loses the lightsaber duel as well as his life. Darth Baras replaces Darth Vengean on the Dark Council.
Behind the Scenes
The Darth Vengean lightsaber first appears in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011). The character and lightsaber are part of the Dark Side Sith Warrior storyline. The Darth Vengean lightsaber is similar in design to the clawed Revan lightsaber.
