Star Wars Transformers: The Ultimate Guide to the Crossover Toyline

Star Wars Transformers is a crossover toyline featuring robot style figures of popular Star Wars characters that may convert into a ship or vehicle associated with the character. Each toy comes with at least one small figure that may pilot the vehicle along with accessories for the large robot style figure. The toyline takes inspiration from the Transformers, a Hasbro and TakaraTomy owned media franchise featuring alien robots Autobots and Decepticons that can transform themselves into vehicles.

Hasbro launched the Star Wars Transformers toyline in 2005 around the time of the release of the film Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The company released products in the toyline from 2005 to 2008 and from 2011 to 2012. In 2018, Japanese toy company TakaraTomy produced two more detailed and higher end Star Wars Transformers products.

All of the Star Wars Transformers products are currently retired, but available new and pre-owned in secondary markets.
