The Saberforge Cultist lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber is an original design with a Sith lightsaber vibe. A series of three short claws encircle the emitter. The lightsaber will be available as an empty hilt (no electronics), stunt saber (LED light only, no sound), or sound saber (in-hilt or neopixel configuration). Although Saberforge has not yet announced a release date for the Cultist lightsaber, a late 2020 or early 2021 release date seems likely.

Saberforge Cultist Lightsaber Description
The low profile, short claws encircle the emitter section of the lightsaber. Thin, detail lines adorn the sides of each claw. The clawed emitter gives the hilt design a bold and ominous dark side vibe.
The base of each of the three claws aligns with the top of a vertical, stadium-shaped window. A series of windows encircle the the hilt just below the emitter and the claws. Below the windows, the hilt narrows into a choke point. The chock point makes the lightsaber easier to maneuver and more favorable for spinning. A conveniently recessed activation switch section minimizes accidental activation of the saber. The deep vertical grooves intersect with deep horizontal grooves to form a grenade grip. A Covertec wheel attaches to the hilt near the base. Finally, a vented pommel with a flared shape caps off the end of the hilt.
The Cultist lightsaber uses a standard blade socket and accommodates a 1 inch diameter blade. The lightsaber comes in three different finishes: Standard (two-toned black and silver), Weathered, or Black. This article features photos of the Weathered version of the hilt. The hilt body on the Saberforge Cultist is the same as the Saberforge Venom Mk2 lightsaber hilt body and the Saberforge Cleric lightsaber hilt body. All three designs employ three different style emitter attachments, giving each hilt its own unique silhouette and aura.
