The Voolvif Monn lightsaber is a single-bladed green lightsaber wielded by Jedi Master Voolvif Monn in Star Wars Legends. Voolvif Monn is a Clone Wars era Shistavanen male Jedi Master. He serves as a Jedi General for the Jedi Order and the Republic during the Clone Wars. The character is a nod to the “Wolfman” character in the cantina scene of Star Wars: A New Hope.

Voolvif Monn Lightsaber in Star Wars Legends
Orphaned as an infant, Voolvif Monn grows up in solitude in the Arah asteroid belt. He develops sharp tracking and hunting skills from a young age. A visiting Jedi Master Paouoish Rahhdool locates Monn and trains him as a Jedi. Monn continues honing his tracking skills as a Jedi and develops proficiency in lightsaber combat. He ascends to the rank of Jedi Knight.
Jedi Knight Voolvif Monn serves on Jedi Master Mace Windu’s Geonosis strike team of Jedi to rescue Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padmé Amidala from capture. The Jedi are heavily outnumbered and outgunned in the skirmish. The team successfully extracts Kenobi, Skywalker and Amidala, but suffers a high casualty rate. Voolvif Monn is one of only a few dozen Jedi to survive. He wields his lightsaber in the ensuing battle, the First Battle of Geonosis, the inaugural conflict of the Clone Wars. Monn is promoted to Jedi Master.
Monn serves as a Jedi General during the Clone Wars. He and his clone troopers go on a mission to the planet Muunilinst to take control from the InterGalactic Banking Clan (IBC). Voolvif Monn ignites his lightsaber and charges against a wave of battle droids. His troops provide additional ground support. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi forces an IBC surrender, which quickly ends the battle.
During the Outer Rim Sieges, Voolvif Monn along with the Jedi Agen Kolar and Aayla Secura go on a mission to an ice-planet. During the battle with Separatists, all three Jedi become immobilized in orange energy bubbles. Anakin Skywalkeruses the Force to pop the energy bubbles and rescues the Jedi.
Behind the Scenes
The Voolvif Monn lightsaber first appears in the “Chapter 20” (April 2002) episode of the animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars. Hasbro released a 3.75 inch Voolvif Monn action figure as part of The 30th Anniversary Collection. The figure includes a green-bladed lightsaber as an accessory.
