Peerce Lightsaber in Star Wars Legends

The Peerce lightsaber is comprised of a cylindrical metal hilt. The metallic silver hilt features a flared emitter, ribbing near the bottom, and a ring on the the base. The single-bladed Jedi lightsaber emits a goldish amber blade.

In his early life, Peere studies the ways of the Force at the Jedi Temple. After he becomes a Jedi Knight, Peerce studies as an investigator. He constructs and wields a goldish amber-bladed lightsaber before earning the rank of Jedi Master.

In 30 BBY, Jedi Master Peerce, along with Jedi Knight J’Mikel and his Padawan Xiaan Amersu, undertakes a mission in the Coruscant underworld to find Jedi hunter Aurra Sing. The group trails Sing and finds a slain squad of Republic Peace Officers. Peerce splits up from J’Mikel and Amersu. Aurra Sing ambushes the Jedi Master Peerce. She kills the Jedi Master and gruesomely suspends his body with cabling. The other two Jedi find his body and Aurra Sing ultimately kills them as well.

Behind the Scenes

The Peerce lightsaber first appears in the comic book Star Wars 28: The Hunt for Aurra Sing, Part 1 (2001).
