Tethan Props Gimli’s Lightsaber has been released. The custom saber, a mashup lightsaber, is inspired by the design of the Gimli battle axe in Lord of the Rings. A painted 3D printed resin lightsaber prop, Gimli’s lightsaber is configured as a stunt saber that lights up but does not make sound. Tethan Props Gimli’s lightsaber intended for display or cosplay and is not duel worthy.

The Tethan Props Gimli lightsaber hilt is comprised of painted 3D printed resign. The hexagonal hilt is 25.5 cm long and accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. The is painted a weathered silver color with weathered gold accents and features a brown grip section. A series of pinhole windows encircle the emitter section. The hilt parts weigh about 191 grams.
Gimli’s lightsaber, which is configured as a stunt saber without sound, is installed with a 200 lumen LED. The lightsaber features 3 light modes: standard, low and strobe. A USB recharge port is situated in the handle. Tethan Props Gimli’s lightsaber includes: the hilt, a dedicated blade plug, and a USB cable (for charging the saber). A 92 cm long blade (about 36 inches) is available as an upgrade.
