The Korbanth Darkness lightsaber is a custom saber inspired by the design of the folding Dark Rey lightsaber in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The lightsaber, a limited run, is available as an empty hilt or as a neopixel saber installed by Korbanth.

The Darkness lightsaber features an uncommon folding, collapsible hilt design. A magnet keeps the hilts attached together in the upright position. The Darkness hilt may unfold dynamically if you hold one hilt and flick your wrist to separate the magnets (alternatively, you could just hold both hilts and pry the magnets apart manually). Once the hilts extend, a hinge in the middle locks the hilts into a saberstaff position. If you’d like to collapse the hilt again, just press the button on the side of the hinge to release the hinge. Then fold up the hilt and reattach the magnets.
The hilt is about 15 inches long in the folded position and about 30 inches long in its extended saberstaff position. Darkness is comprised of machined aluminum and is mostly metallic silver in color with black and red accents. Like many saberstaffs, the hilt is symmetrical. The split-top emitter features a vertical, stadium-shaped window on either side. Two functional switches are situated in the activation box area of each hilt. A red gear shaped section is situated below the round, flat magnets. The screws on the gear shaped piece may be loosened to access in the inside of the hilt for an electronics installation. The grip sections of the hilts boasts a series of four horizontal red grooves with discreet sound holes.
