Korbanth Fallen V2 Lightsaber Unveiled | New Saber Alert

Korbanth unveiled the Fallen V2 lightsaber hilt today. The custom saber is inspired by the design of the Cal Kestis lightsaber in the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019). Unlike Korbanth Fallen V1, which was released in 2019, the new Korbanth Fallen V2 lightsaber hilt comes with both a damaged bottom half and a non-damaged bottom half. Additionally, the Fallen V2 hilt includes a coupler so that two of the hilts may be combined to form a saberstaff. The V2 pommel section is also more detailed than V1.

The Korbanth Fallen V2 lightsaber run opens for pre-orders on March 14, 2020 at 10am Mountain Time. UPDATE 3/18/2020: Korbanth states that the initial run sold out in less that 17 minutes of its release. The company plans to accept orders for a second round of empty hilts sometime on March 20, 2020 at noon Pacific Standard Time.

Korbanth Fallen V2 features a long double-shroud in the emitter section. The hilt tapers, and then widens near the upper middle of the hilt. Tiny raised squares populate the lengthy, knurled grip section of the hilt. A narrow pommel, the most narrow section of the entire hilt, extends out for the grip section to cap off the end of the lightsaber hilt.

Korbanth Fallen V2, which is made of aluminum, is available in two finishes: a standard chrome finish or a weathered/battle worn finish with a more tarnished appearance. The hilt is designed to accommodate a 1 inch diameter blade blade. The empty hilt may accept electronics installs, including either a neopixel or an in-hilt LED configuration.

Korbanth cautions buyers that the “battle damaged” end of Fallen V2 may have some jagged edges on the bottom.

Korbanth, a United States based custom saber company, specializes in the character inspired lightsaber hilts. The company releases empty hilts and offers a more limited selection of installed lightsabers as well.
