Savi’s Workshop Peace and Justice Lightsaber Theme Explained | Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge

The Savi’s Workshop Peace and Justice lightsaber theme is comprised of Jedi lightsaber parts. The theme heavily borrows design elements from Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy Jedi lightsabers, making the scrap metal parts in the Peace and Justice theme feel familiar and slightly foreign at the same time.

Savi’s Workshop Peace and Justice scrap metal parts

Peace and Justice scrap metal parts are mostly metallic silver in color with some black accents and a few gold accents as well. The theme name is derived a line of dialogue in Star Wars: A New Hope where Obi-Wan Kenobi refers to Jedi Knights as “the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic”.

Peace and Justice lightsaber builders may select 5 of the 10 possible scrap metal pieces when constructing their lightsaber including: 1 emitter, 2 sleeves, 1 switch, and 1 endcap (pommel). Let’s take a closer look at the Savi’s Workshop Peace and Justice theme options.

Peace and Justice Emitter Options

Peace and Justice offers two emitter options: an s-curve emitter (similar in design to the Skywalker lightsaber emitter) or a flanged emitter (similar in design to the Obi-Wan Kenobi ANH lightsaber or the Luke Skwalker ROTJ lightsaber). The s-curve emitter features a split-top shroud design with two small bunny ears protruding out of one side and a decorative, black thumbscrew type piece with a small gold dome in the center.

Peace and Justice Sleeve Options

Peace and Justice offers four sleeve options, and the builder must select two sleeves. One sleeve features deep, black grooves similar to the Luke Skywalker ROTJ lightsaber grip section and a decorative black “button” (non-functional). Another sleeve features three shallow grooves and a recessed black circle with two shallow, brass pin style accents similar to the emitter area of the Skywalker lightsaber. One sleeve is nearly all black with a gold domed button (non-functional). The final sleeve features a gold colored ring on one end with a series of vertical, black grips encircling the piece similar to the Mace Windu lightsaber.

Peace and Justice Switch Options

Both of the switch options are somewhat basic in design. One switch option features a horizontal groove and the other features a vertical groove in the center. Both designs use a sliding black switch in the center as well.

Peace and Justice Pommel Options

Two end cap/pommel options are available. One end cap is a mostly black pommel that flares out at its base, featuring a D-ring on the bottom. The other end cap is mostly metallic silver in color with some black accents and a D-ring on the bottom.

Other Peace and Justice design elements

Overall, the Savi’s Workshop Peace and Justice theme is comprised of pieces somewhat similar in design to some fan favorite, traditional Jedi lightsabers, however, none of the pieces are derived outright from existing character lightsabers.
