Saberforge ECO Sabers: What You Should Know

Saberforge ECO Sabers, formerly known as Saberforge Youngling Sabers, are a product line of budget-friendly custom lightsabers with sound from Saberforge. ECO Sabers are cheaper, smaller and shorter, and lower in quality than standard Saberforge lightsabers (non-ECO Sabers). Saberforge currently offers 12 different ECO Saber hilt designs.

Most ECO Saber hilts, which vary in design, measure about 10 to 11 inches long and about 1.25 inches in diameter. The smaller hilt size makes ECO Sabers more manageable for kids to wield. All ECO Sabers use a single blade LED color (Cree XPE2 Module) and include a removable V4 Infinity Blade and a blade plug.

The affordably priced sound sabers are an inexpensive, feature-rich, entry-level option for kids or adults wanting a cheap starter lightsaber. Some features of Saberforge ECO Sabers (Gen4) include: 3 soundfonts, mute function, deep sleep mode, illuminated AV switch, in-hilt recharge port, and visual effects (e.g. blaster deflect shimmer, lockup effect, Flash on Clash).

Saberforge excludes all ECO Sabers from additional sales or discounts.

  1. 2 of the 4 eco sabers we bought failed almost immediately. The power button fell out of one and the LED a failed in another. Buyer beware.
