Step 1: Install the kyber crystal
Attach the kyber crystal to the crystal chamber section of the chassis. Sometimes sliding the kyber crystal into the chamber is bit tricky at first. The points on either end should nest inside the crystal chamber.
The kyber crystal illuminates slightly on the bottom is installed correctly and is recognized by the chassis.
Step 2: Attach the activation plates
The two activation plates or panels snap to the middle of the chassis, covering up the kyber crystal. The activation plates are color coded. One plate has a blue mark that matches up with a blue mark on the chassis. The other plate has a red mark that matches up with a red mark on the chassis.
Step 3: Screw on the two grip sections
One grip section screws on above the activation plates and the other grip section screws on below the activation plates. The grip sections are interchangeable, so either one could attach above or below the activation plates. The threaded end of the grip section, which is also the wider end of the grip section, points toward the middle of the hilt.
Step 4: Add the pommel (endcap) and emitter
Screw the threaded pommel to the base of the chassis and the emitter to the top of the chassis. The pommel is the endcap of the lightsaber and covers up the black battery pack. The emitter section serves as the top piece of the lightsaber hilt. The blade will extend out of the hilt.
Step 5: Tighten up all of the pieces
Make sure that all of the pieces are tightened around the chassis. Try activating the hilt without a blade installed, and the lightsaber will make a ‘misfire’ sound.
Step 6: Attach the blade to the hilt
Each blade features a black section at the bottom with one large metal piece and one small metal piece. The hilt contains two slots in the emitter area that fit the metal pieces. Align the metal pieces and slide the black section of the black into the emitter area, then give the blade a twist to lock the blade in place.
Step 7: Activate and enjoy your FULLY OPERATIONAL Savi’s Workshop lightsaber
Turn on the lightsaber, wave it around and have fun! The Savi’s Workshop lightsabers light up and makes sound. Savi’s Workshop lightsabers are recommended for ages 5 and up.
