Need a lightsaber FAST? Many custom lightsaber companies have notoriously long wait times ranging from several weeks to even months before the company ships a lightsaber order. Worse yet, some custom lightsaber companies ship orders later than their advertised shipping window on their website. If you need to get a lightsaber sooner rather than later, here are a few speedier options.

1. Visit a Lightsaber Showroom or Convention Booth In Person
Visiting a showroom or convention in person allows a lightsaber enthusiast to try out different lightsabers in person and purchase a lightsaber on the spot. Visiting a lightsaber company in person is the fastest way to get a lightsaber.

Although Saberforge (United States) and Argentum Sabers (Germany) both boast lightsaber showrooms, very few custom saber companies have showrooms or storefronts that are open to the public. Star Wars Force FX lightsabers are sometimes available at stores like Target, Walmart or other brick and mortar stores. Galaxy’s Edge, the new Star Wars land at Disneyland and Disney World also sells several midrange/high end lightsabers onsite including: Disney Parks exclusive lightsabers, Legacy Lightsabers (at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities), and build-your-own lightsabers (at Savi’s Workshop).

Many custom saber companies do reserve a booth at science fiction and fantasy related conventions, however. Ultrasabers, Saberforge, Vader’s Vault, Sabertrio, AC Lightsabers, The Pach Store and other custom saber companies have all exhibited at conventions. Custom lightsaber companies tend to exhibit at conventions are close to the home state or home country of the company.

2. Look for Ready to Ship Lightsabers
Lightsabers designated as ‘Ready to Ship’ should already be constructed, in-hand, and available for faster shipping. Vader’s Vault holds multiple popular Ready to Ship promos throughout the year. The shipping speed of ‘Ready to Ship’ lightsabers varies from company to company, but Ready to Ship lightsabers generally ship faster than a lightsaber that must be machined, assembled and installed.

3. Search eBay for Lightsabers with Fast Shipping
Some eBay sellers ship lightsabers within a few days of purchase. Make sure you review the seller’s feedback and advertised shipping speed before purchasing. Search for lightsabers on eBay [affiliate link].

4. Browse Through Facebook ‘Buy and Sell’ Groups
Facebook is filled with many active lightsaber-themed Buy and Sell Groups with lots of sales posts. Join a lightsaber-themed Groups on Facebook to access and interact with the lightsaber sales posts. You may also create a post, asking if anyone is willing to sell a specific hilt.
