The previous Korbanth version, Korbanth Duke V1, had been released as a limited run in 2012. Korbanth states, “[T]his newly designed Duke V2 will be made by an entirely new group who’s attention to detail and accuracy will surpass the older version by 3x.” Additionally, Duke V2 will be CNC machined stainless steel and brass and feature “more generous insides to accommodate neopixel and Proffie[board]/CFX sound boards.” (Source: Korbanth Facebook post 8/15/2019; retrievd 4/15/2020)

Duke V2 features a chromed finish and includes a blade plug. The curved-hilt is designed to accommodate a 7/8 inch diameter blade. The hilt features one brass switch in the emitter area and two additional switches in the lower ‘elbow’ of the hilt, located just above the decorative red piece and Covertec wheel.

Korbanth, a United States based custom saber company, specializes in limited runs character inspired lightsaber hilts. The company releases empty hilts and offers a more limited selection of installed lightsabers as well.
