The Anakin Starkiller Darth Maul TPM Lightsaber Prop run has been announced. The custom saber, a static display piece cast in resin, is inspired by the design of the Darth Maul double-bladed lightsaber. The hilt kit requires some assembly. Anakin Starkiller, also known as At Stars’ End, is collecting sign up list for the hilt for two weeks and anticipates the completion of the run in early 2019. The hilt is still available for purchase as recently as early July 2022.

The Anakin Starkiller Darth Maul TPM Lightsaber Prop is a full size prop replica that the creator describes as screen accurate and “meticulously researched, beginning with a production made [Saesee] Tin stunt saber.” The static piece is cast in resin and hand painted and weathered to add realism. O-rings, washers, and aluminum emitter caps are included.
The kit requires some assembly. The two single hilt pieces connect together with a 3/8 inch threaded rod (not included). Threaded rods are available online or at hardware stores and must be cut down in order to fit the hilt. The emitter caps screw into the rod in order to hold the hilt together.
