DIRT CHEAP SPACE SWORD AND LIGHTSABER TOYS ($3 to around $40)
First let’s look at super cheap to dirt cheap. Some of the cheapest light-up toy swords, like the Walmart Space Sword, only cost a few dollars. Many lightsaber toys within the popular Star Wars Hasbro Bladebuilders line cost somewhere between around $10 and $40. If you’re looking for pure fun and you only have a few bucks, then you could spring for a $3 Walmart Space Sword or spend a little bit more on Hasbro Bladebuilders lightsabers.

YDD SABER BUDGET SOUND SABERS ($50 to around $100)
If you have a little bit more money to spend and you want a metal lightsaber, you may consider getting a lightsaber manufactured by YDD Saber (NOTE: The YDD Sabers websites appears to ONLY handle bulk orders). YDD Saber manufactures a popular inexpensive sound saber with a metal hilt. Many different lightsaber companies sell this YDD budget saber under many different names. A few common names include: The Tiny Giant Kyojin (from The Pach Store), Youngling Saber (from Saberforge), ECO Saber (from The Saber Armory).

The Pach Store carries several models of budget sound sabers around $100 or less. One of the problems with some of the budget sound sabers is the battery pack is installed permanently within the lightsaber, meaning you can’t replace or repair the battery pack. A benefit of budget sound sabers is many of them are feature-packed for a budget friendly price.

ULTRASABERS STUNT SABERS (under $100)
Another budget-friendly lightsaber company is Ultrasabers. Ultrasabers sells a variety of stunt sabers (no sound) for around $60 to $100. Although the stunt sabers don’t have any sound, they might make a decent starter saber and may last longer than some of the budget sound sabers that cannot easily be repaired. The ever popular $75 Mystery Box Saber and a $70 Grab Bag Saber are among the cheapest lightsabers that Ultrasabers sells.

BUDGET TO MID-RANGE LIGHTSABERS (between $100 and $250)
Many custom saber companies offer lightsabers between $100 to $200. Some common budget/mid-range options include [AFFILIATE LINKS]:

Any one of these categories of sabers could be a good fit for you, depending on what you’re looking for. It’s nice to know, though, that just about anyone has the budget to pick up a $3 Space Sword.
