The Saberforge Heretic lightsaber has been released. The custom saber is inspired by the design of the Starkiller lightsaber. The Saberforge Heretic lightsaber is a smaller and slightly simplified version of the Saberforge Reliant lightsaber. The custom saber is available as an empty hilt (for display or DIY), stunt saber (in-hilt LED, no sound), or sound saber. The Saberforge Heretic lightsaber was released in March 2017.

The Saberforge Heretic lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined aluminum hilt. The hilt measures 10.8 inches long and has an outside diameter (OD) of 1.35 inches and an inside diameter (ID) of 1 inch. The hilt is equipped with a standard blade socket (i.e. NOT thin neck) and accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. Heretic is a smaller and slightly simplified version of the Saberforge Reliant lightsaber.
The Saberforge Heretic lightsaber hilt comes in three main finishes: Standard (brushed silver with black accents, Weathered (tarnished silver appearance), and Black (all black). Saberforge offers various powder coating colors as well as an upgrade.

Heretic features an s-curve emitter and a tapered section above the switches. The hilt includes an optional synthetic wrap (various colors/textures available) for the lower part of the hilt. A Covertech knob attaches near the bottom of the hilt. A multi-faceted, mace-like pommel caps off the end of the hilt. The pommel is removable and features sound vents.
