The Gella Nattai lightsabers are a pair of purple bladed lightsabers with a similar design. Each hilt features a silver-colored emitter section and a black grip section with a possible katana-like, tsuka-ito style grip. A gold-colored ring section flanks either end of the grip. Nattai holds each hilt near the top of the grip section, in the middle part of the overall hilt.

As a child, Gella Nattai’s parents drop her off at the Temple of Eedit, a Jedi Temple on the jungle planet Devaron. There after she learns the ways of the Force under the guidance of the Jedi Order. Jedi Arezi Mar takes on Nattai as her Padawan. Nattai eventually ascends to the rank of Jedi Knight.

Around 382 BBY, Gella Nattai accepts a mission to the Eiram System in the Outer Rim Territories. She teams up with Axel Greylark, the son of the Supreme Chancellor, in order to investigate a plot to assassinate members of the royal families on the clashing planets Eiram and E’ronoh. The Supreme Chancellor sends her son, which is distrustful of Jedi, on the mission in order to represent Republic interests.

After the mission, Nattai decides to leave the Jedi Order and pursue a path as a Jedi Wayseeker instead.
