Saber Source The Light Count Lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom curved-hilt saber is inspired by the Jedi Dooku lightsaber from the Tales of the Jedi series. Although The Light Count is initially offered as fully installed Proffie pixel saber, the company plans to offer empty hilt for DIY at a later day.
Saber Source began accepting pre-orders for the saber in early May 2023 and expects the first batch of orders to ship in mid to late May 2023. Run is limited to 50 units worldwide. Note that ‘Saber Source’ and ‘SaberSourcing’ are two different entities that are not affiliated with each other.

The Light Count is comprised of a machined aluminum hilt measuring about 11.5 inches long with an outside diameter (OD) of about 1.5 inches. Emitter section features the iconic claw on one side and a shield-like shroud on the other. Remove the screws in the middle of the hilt to separate the lower half of the hilt and reveal the chassis and electronics beneath.
Installed pixel saber version of the saber operates with a 2-button setup of Proffieboard V2.2. Includes a 32 midgrade pixel blade (buyer may switch to a 36 inch blade upon request). Saber Source is only offering installed pixel sabers to start, but states they will offer empty hilts soon.
