Jawa’s Junkyard Keyblade Lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber, a mashup lightsaber, takes design inspiration from the mysterious weapon in the Kingdom Hearts RPG series. The Keyblade lightsaber, a limited run, is available as an empty hilt suitable for display or cosplay and capable of accepting electronics. Jawa’s Junkyard began accepting pre-orders for the Keyblade lightsaber in mid-March 2023.

The Keyblade lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined T6 6061 aluminum hilt. Two-toned hilt features a realistic, anodized metallic yellowish orange outer frame/handguard with an anodized matte black central handle. Empty hilt (without electronics) weighs 1.2 kg (or about 2.65 lbs). Blade holder accepts a standard 1 inch diameter blade (not included). Additionally, Jawa’s Junkyard states that the company is in communication with several blade makers about the prospect of creating a specialized keyblade-style lightsaber blade.
Jawa’s Junkyard offers the Keyblade lightsaber as an empty hilt for display or DIY. Hilt may accept electronics and features a 28 mm inside diameter (ID) and a discreet two-switch configuration. A group run chassis for the hilt is in development and will become available at a later date.
