Saberbay The Turn Lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber, a curved hilt design, is inspired by the Tales of the Jedi Dooku lightsaber. Saberbay offers The Turn, a limited run, as an empty hilt for display or DIY (chassis available) and also as an installed pixel saber equipped with Proffieboard. Saberbay began accepting pre-orders in early February 2023 with an estimated fulfillment date in April or May 2023.

The Turn hilt is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and measures about 363 mm long. Blade holder, which features an emitter shroud and iconic claw, accepts a 7/8 inch diameter blade. Empty hilt is compatible with 28 mm speaker. Features a mostly brushed aluminum finish on the main body and shrouds along with anodized black and gunmetal gray accents, and knurled segments in the grip section. A striking polished brass trigger piece is situated in the lower part of the hilt. Hilt uses the functional brass trigger as the activation switch. The two-button actuator function also serves as an activation switch in the middle of the hilt. Saberbay offers install chassis for the hilt for an additional fee. Overall hilt features a sleek and simplified design.
In addition to offering the DIY empty hilt, Saberbay also offers made-to-order installed pixel saber options. The company offers the installed pixel saber version with one of following soundboards: Proffieboard, Plecter Labs Crystal Focus 10 (CFX) or Sabertec Golden Harvest V3.
