AusSabers Sentinel V2 Lightsaber has been released. The custom saber, an in-house AusSabers design, features a classic profile with an angled and windowed emitter, grip section shroud and an iconic metallic red thumbscrew greeblie near the top. AusSabers offers Sentinel V2, a limited run, in several configurations: EcoSwing (budget in-hilt LED saber) or pixel saber (with budget Xenopixel or Proffieboard soundboard). An empty hilt version is available too, for DIY installers. AusSabers released Sentinel V2 in late January 2023.

Sentinel V2 is comprised of a machined aluminum that measures about 305 mm long (excluding the pommel D-ring). The outside diameter (OD) of the grip section ranges from 33 mm (under the shroud) and 35 mm on the outside of the grip shroud. Hilt diameter narrows to 30 mm at the choke point. The choke point make the hilt easier to spin and maneuver and also provides a comfortable spot for the upper hand of a two-handed grip or a high grip point for a one-handed grip style.
The hilt emitter features a swooped design with a series of staggered vertical windows. Just below the windows, a metallic red thumbscrew greeblie catches the eye and creates a Prequel/Clone Wars era vibe. A recessed illuminated AV switch is situated below the upper choke point. A shroud with a cutout section reveals a grooved grip section beneath.
A knob-style pommel section with sound vents and a boxy D-ring caps off the design (pommel takes inspiration from the Cal Kestis lightsaber in Jedi Survivor). AusSabers offers two finishes options: Silver (mostly silver with black accents) or Black (mostly black).
AusSabers offers Sentinel V2 as an empty hilt for DIY. The company also offer three electronics configurations: EcoSwing (budget in-hilt LED sound saber with blade), Xeno (budget pixel saber with pixel blade), or Proffie (standard pixel saber with pixel blade). All three saber configurations come pre-loaded with a series of sound fonts. All sabers also include a 1 inch diameter blade (standard blade for EcoSwing and pixel blade for Xeno or Proffie).
