Saberbay Clone-A-Phobe Lightsaber (Pong Krell Inspired) | New Saber Alert
Saberbay Clone-A-Phobe lightsaber has been released. The custom saber is inspired by the Pong Krell folding saberstaff lightsabers in The Clone Wars. Saberbay offers Clone-A-Phobe, a limited run, as an empty hilt (for DIY) or as an installed pixel saber. Developed in collaboration with Jimmy’s Saber Junk, Saberbay began accepting pre-orders for the Clone-A-Phobe lightsaber in early January 2023.

Saberbay Clone-A-Phobe lightsaber is comprised of a machined aluminum that measures 24.5 inches long from end to end when extended. The outside diameter (OD) at the widest part measures about 1.6 inches. Each blade holder accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. The fully installed hilt weighs 3 lbs 6 oz. Hilt features a push-button activated folding mechanism to extend the hilt out into the saberstaff configuration.
Hilt features a mostly media blasted and anodized gunmetal gray finish with authentic brass accents near the emitter. Design uses hidden sound venting near each emitter area. Saberbay offers multiple dedicated chassis design files for an additional fee.
Installed pixel saber version of Clone-A-Phobe utilizes a fully removable chassis (basic or crystal chamber version) and single-button switch activation. Select one of three soundboards: Plecter Labs Crystal Focus 10 (CFX), Proffieboard, or Sabertec Golden Harvest V3. An OLED screen is optional as an add-on for CFX or Proffieboard.
