Korbanth Mantis lightsaber has been released. The custom saber, an original design, features both an aggressive clawed emitter and complementary clawed pommel. Korbanth offers the Mantis lightsaber as an empty hilt (for DIY or display) or as an installed pixel saber. Korbanth released the lightsaber, a limited run and a Korbanth exclusive design, in late November 2022.

The Mantis lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined aluminum hilt with three color scheme options: Chrome Silver, Gunmetal Gray, or Gold. A series of asymmetrical, antenna-like black claws encircle the emitter. The blade holder accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. Gill-like vertical slots, with interior accent LED (installed version only), flank either side of the upper hilt.
A cutout section in the middle of the hilt reveals a grooved black grip section somewhat resembling the Qui-Gon Jinn or Prequel Obi-Wan Kenobi lightsaber. Additional accent LED ‘blinkies’ are situated in the lower part of the hilt on the installed pixel saber. A series of short black claws around the pommel section echo the aesthetics of the emitter claws. A Goth3D chassis is available for the hilt (sold separately).
Korbanth offers the Mantis lightsaber as a empty hilt. The company also offers an installed pixel version of the saber equipped with Proffieboard v2.2 soundboard. Installed version features glowing rear accent LED, windows in the emitter, one button setup, and a recharge port in the rear of the hilt.
The Mantis is a Korbanth exclusive design. Hilt is designed by Shadowfoil Props, in collaboration with SP Sabers.
