Saberz Project O1 Lightsaber (Obi-Wan TPM) | New Saber Alert

The Saberz Project O1 lightsaber is a custom saber inspired by the Obi-Wan Kenobi TPM lightsaber. Saberz referenced a screen-used prop during the research and development of the run in order to create a very accurate hilt. Saberz offers Project O1, a limited run of 200 units, as an empty hilt that may accept electronics. Saberz released the Project O1 lightsaber alongside the Project Q lightsaber in late September 2022.

The Project O1 lightsaber hilt is comprsied of T6 aluminum, stainless steel, and brass. FX emitter accepts a 7/8 inch diameter blade. Design conveniently hides the blade retention screws under the emitter ring. Project O1 comes in two finishes: Prop-accurate with sanding (replicating the slightly worn look of the prop) or a machine-brushed “as first built” finish by special request. The knurled metallic red button at the top of the hilt is a multi-part, spring-loaded switch assembly. Switch may function as the activation button. A black Covertec wheel attaches to the lower part of the hilt. The door knob style notched pommel completes the look of the hilt.

Project O1 includes two versions of several parts. Hilt kit includes two interchangeable emitter pieces: a static emitter (for display) and an FX emitter that accepts a 7/8 inch diameter blade. Kit also includes two pommels: a static pommel (no holes) and a pommel with sound vents.

Each hilt includes a serial number name plaque for the limited run.

Saberz also offers the empty hilt as part of a three hilt “Duel of the Fates” bundle including:
Project M (Maul inspired)
Project Q (Qui-Gon inspired)
– Project O1 (Obi-Wan TPM inspired)

Saberz directly referenced a screen-used prop for all three respective hilt designs.
