Saberz Project Q Lightsaber (Qui-Gon) | New Saber Alert

The Saberz Project Q lightsaber is a custom saber inspired by the design of the Qui-Gon Jinn lightsaber from TPM. In order to increase the accuracy of the hilt, Saberz used a screen-used prop as direct reference during the research and development of the run. Saberz offers Project Q, a limited run of 200 units, as an empty hilt that may accept electronics. Saberz released the Project Q alongside the TPM Obi-Wan inspired Project O1 lightsaber in late September 2022.

The Project Q lightsaber is a mixed-material construction consisting of: T6 aluminum, stainless steel, and brass. Hilt blade socket accepts a 7/8 inch diameter blade. Hidden blade retention set screws are situated beneath the emitter ring. Saberz offers two finish options: Prop-accurate with sanding (replicating the slightly worn look of the prop) or a machine-brushed finish by special order. The knurled metallic red button is a multi-part, spring-loaded switch that may function as the activation button. A black Covertec wheel attaches to the rear of the hilt.

Project Q includes two versions of several parts. Hilt kit also includes two interchangeable emitters: a static emitter (for display, with M10 threaded center pipe) and an FX emitter that accepts a 7/8 inch diameter blade. Finally, the kit includes two pommels: a static pommel (no holes) and a pommel with sound vents.

Each hilt includes a serial number name plaque for the limited run.

Saberz also offers the empty hilt as part of a three hilt Duel of the Fates bundle including:
– Project M (Maul inspired)
– Project Q (Qui-Gon inspired)
– Project O1 (Obi-Wan TPM inspired)
