Origin Saber Origin N1 Lightsaber has been unveiled. The sleek custom saber design is influenced by The Mandalorian’s modified N-1 Starfighter. Hilt is available as an empty hilt (for DIY or display), empty hilt with chassis (CFX chassis or Proffieboard chassis) or as a fully installed CFX pixel saber. Origin Sabers began accepting pre-orders for Origin N1 in late July 2022. The company estimates the empty hilts and chassis packs will begin shipping in September 2022 with the installed sabers shipping a bit later.

The Origin N1 lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined AL 6061 hilt with matte black anodized accents. Chassis and hilt are designed for display, cosplay, and spinning. Origin Saber does not guarantee the hilt for heavy dueling. Hilt measures 30.5 cm long and features a 1 inch diameter blade holder with 45 mm blade socket depth (resin blade plug included). Outside diameter (OD) of the hilt measures 35.5 mm in the grip section and the inside diameter (ID) measures 30.5 mm.
Hilt disassembles into 7 main pieces enabling easy etching or other customization. Two sections of the hilt features a ‘honeycomb’ pattern of small holes that enable some accent LED effects or pipe/tube customization. A discreet main switch and aux switch are situated near the upper honeycomb section. The conical pommel features sound venting.
Empty hilt kit includes: empty saber hilt, 2 metal switches (+1 extra), 1 set of rubber seals, 1 blade plug, and 1 allen key.
Chassis pack includes everything in the empty hilt kit along with: a 2-piece removable chassis (CFX design or Proffieboard design), 4 PCB accent LED (2 red, 1 blue, 1 green), 2 PCB tactical switches, 2 stainless steel rod (3mm, 160mm), 2 battery contacts for 18650 battery. Note that the chassis pack does not include a soundboard or battery.
Installed pixel includes everything in the chassis pack along with: 1 keeppower 18650 3120ma/h battery (no overseas shipping), 1 PCD neopixel with LED, 1 28mm bass speaker, 1 Plecter Labs CFX soundboard, 1 high amp kill switch, 1 USB charger, and 1 box with foam.
