The KR Sabers Regiis Lightsaber has been unveiled. The custom saber, an original design, exhibits a sleek and layered design while providing the flexible customizing opportunities of a blank canvas hilt. Regiis is available as an empty hilt (for DIY), empty hilt with ECO Chassis Kit (various soundboard options) or empty hilt with Master Chassis Kit (with Proffieboard).
KR Sabers collaborated with concept artist sxeven.art on the design. The company unveiled the Regiis lightsaber in March 2022 with an expected shipping date May 2022.

The Regiis Lightsaber is comprised of a CNC machined hilt crafted from aluminum (AL 6061) and brass. The hilt features a shiny silver shrouds, brass accents, and an anodized matte black main body. Includes 2 full spring loaded switch actuators! The blade holder accepts a 1 inch diameter blade. The blade retention and shroud screws use a 1.5mm allen key, Covertec wheel uses a 2.5mm allen key, and the brass accent band on the hilt body uses a 1.27mm allen key.
The attractively layered design includes versatile shrouds. While shrouds look sleek and clean out of the box, the buyer may choose to customize the open areas with etching, powder coating, weathering, etc. An upper shroud, featuring a slanted section near the blade holder, extends up the top two thirds of the hilt. A cutout section from the top of the shroud to the main switch reveals the matte black body beneath. A shorter lower shroud echoes the aesthetic of the upper shroud. The brass Covertec wheel coordinates with the other brass accents throughout the hilt.
KR Sabers offers Regiis as an empty hilt (for DIY) or with an ECO Chassis Kit or Master Chassis Kit. The ECO Chassis Kit includes: the hilt, an electronics parts kit, a buyer-selected soundboard (Proffieboard, Golden Harvest V3, or KR Sabers Verso Soundboard) and a standard chassis or a crystal chamber chassis. The Master Chassis Kit includes the hilt, an electronics parts kit, a buyer-selected soundboard (Proffieboard, Golden Harvest V3, or KR Sabers Verso Soundboard) and a natural brass chassis from Shapeways. The buyer may also select the empty hilt only and purchase a GOTH3Design chassis separately on Shapeways.
The Regiis lightsaber follows in the tradition of the KR Sabers Flagship V2, an extremely popular and customizable blank canvas design.
