Iguni Lightsaber (non-Canon)

The Iguni lightsaber is comprised of a cylindrical hilt with a flared, bowl-shaped emitter. The kyber crystal equipped lightsaber emits a blade of unknown color. Iguni is shown wielding the saber with a two-handed grip. The Padawan wears a standard Jedi tunic, belt, trousers and boots. He also wears a Padawan braid.

Around the time of the Clone Wars, Iguni learns the ways of the Force at the Jedi Temple. After training as youngling under the guidance of Yoda, Mace Windu eventually selects Iguni as his Padawan.

Iguni, along with his friends and fellow Padawans Zeami and Zoi, take part in the Battle of Coruscant. Iguni defies Master Windu’s warning to not engage with the opposing droid forces. After the other two Padawans are struck down, Iguni uses the Force to create a powerful whirlwind around the three Padawans. Although the whirlwind destroy many droids, the force also injures Zoi.

Mace Windu finds the trio, ordering Iguni to take Zeami and Zoi back to the Jedi Temple. Windu says Iguni’s impulsive defiance lead to his friends injuries. Iguni vows to become stronger to better protect those close to him.

Iguni trains with a renewed vigor and purpose during lightsaber sparring sessions with Master Windu. Although Windu defeats him every time, Iguni perseveres. During one sparring session, Windu remarks that Iguni is improving, but advises the Padawan to stop letting his guard down as he attacks. As

Iguni spots Anakin Skywalker. He musters the courage to approach the legendary Skywalker, asking him what makes him so strong in the Force. Skywalker ask Iguni why he would like to be so strong. When Iguni replies he wanted to be strong to protect his friends, Skywalker says he wants to protect the ones he loves. Iguni is encouraged that he and Skywalker seem to share the same motivation.

As Skywalker begins walking away, he touches Iguni’s shoulder. The Padawan unexpectedly experiences a Force vision of a mysterious cloaked figure wielding a lightsaber amidst widespread death and destruction.

Deeply unsettled by the vision, Iguni watches Anakin Skywalker walk away in the distance.
