The Leia Organa Legacy Lightsaber has been released. The Leia Organa Legacy Lightsaber was initially released bundled with the Reforged Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber in the limited edition Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Set. The Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Set, a special boxed set limited to 3,000 units, sold out on the shopDisney website within minutes of its release on May 4, 2021 (Star Wars Day). The Leia Organa Legacy Legacy Lightsaber will be available for purchase at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Disney World.

The Leia Organa Legacy Lightsaber is comprised of zinc, aluminum, ABS and cellulose acetate. The hilt, a thin neck design with a radiator style emitter, measures 11 inches long and comes in a hard-shell plastic storage box (Note: The bundled Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber Set comes in an MDF wood box).
All legacy lightsabers accept a Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge legacy lightsaber blade (sold separately). The lightsaber hilt requires 3 AAA batteries, which are included, although the hilt does not makes sounds or function without the legacy lightsaber blade. A hilt display stand, lightsaber bag, belt clip and other accessories are sold separately.
The Disney Parks Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Legacy Lightsaber collection now includes over 15 different hilt designs, including light side and dark side character hilts from all three Star Wars Trilogies as well as from the Star Wars television series’ and from the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
