Warb Null Lightsaber in Star Wars Legends

The individual who would become known as Warb Null is born on the Mid Rim planet Onderon with the name Shas Dovos. A dedicated metalworking student, Dovos finds an intriguing ancient Sith magic book. He steals the book and becomes obsessed with its teachings. He constructs a suit of armor imbued with Sith magic.

Over times he comes to realize that a Sith spirit had influenced his thoughts and dreams and had tainted the armor with Sith magic. By the time he recognizes the influence, however, it is too late for him to resist. The Sith spirit renames Dovos “Warb Null”. Null becomes a mindless Sith warrior under the direction of the Sith spirit. Null constructs a long-hilted lightsaber that emits a green blade. He becomes the protect of the ancient Dark Lord of the Sith known as Freedon Nadd.

During the Freedon Nadd Uprising, Warb Null leads a secret army to recover the sarcophagi of Freedon Nadd and his disciple Queen Amanoa. During the mission, Null and his Sith army engage in combat with Jedi and a pair of exploring Beast Masters. Null engages in lightsaber combat with four Jedi simultaneously: Tott Doneeta, Oss Wilum, Ulic Qel-Droma and Cay Qel-Droma. Meanwhile, Null’s soldiers recover the sarcophagi. By the end of the skirmish, Ulic Qel-Droma is captured.

When the captured and enraged young Jedi Ulic Qel-Droma lashes out, Freedon Nadd uses the pawn Warb Null as a test of Qel-Droma’s dark side potential. During the ensuing lightsaber duel, Qel-Droma cuts off Null’s weapon arm. When the Dark Jedi begs for mercy, Ulic Qel-Droma swiftly kills the Warb Null.

Warb Null’s armor and long-hilted lightsaber become enshrined in the mountains of the planet Nicht Ka. A group of Jedi discover the artifacts in 19 BBY. After the Jedi Telloti Cillmam’n dons the armor, he becomes corrupted and kills his colleagues. He takes on the name Malleus, the Hammer of the Dark Side.
