Bultar Swan Lightsaber in Star Wars Canon
The Bultar Swan lightsaber, a Jedi lightsaber, is comprised of a cylindrical hilt made from a metal alloy. The lightsaber is mostly metallic silver in color with a gold/brass colored emitter. The lightsaber emits a green blade.
Bultar Swan serves the Jedi Order and the Republic during the Clone Wars era. Bultar Swan wields her lightsaber while serving on the Mace Windu’s Jedi assault team charged with rescuing Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Senator Amidala from Separatist imprisonment on Geonosis. The ensuing conflict, the First Battle of Geonosis, is the first battle of the Clone Wars. A skilled lightsaber duelist, Swan is among the survivors who escape the arena. The fate of Bultar Swan and the Bultar Swan lightsaber is unknown.

Bultar Swan is extremely skilled in open hand martial arts and lightsaber defense techniques, exhibiting a fluid and acrobatic style. She studies lightsaber defense under Jedi Master Plo Koon. Prior to the Clone Wars, Bultar Swan maintains a respected record of never taking a life in combat.
Swan survives Order 66 and initial stages of the Great Jedi Purge. Jedi Master Shadday Potkin invites Swan and six other surviving Jedi to meet on the planet Kessel. Unbeknownst to the other Jedi, Shadday had lured Darth Vader to the meeting as well in the hopes that a group of eight Jedi could defeat the Sith Lord.
Vader confronts the group of Jedi. During the ensuing battle, he kills several Jedi. Bultar Swan and Jedi Master Tsui Choi disable Vader and the Sith Lord surrenders. Jedi Master Koffi Arana commands Swan to kill Vader. Swan refuses the order, unwilling to strike down an unarmed opponent. Arana takes Swan’s lightsaber, stabs and kills her with the blade, and wields the lightsaber against Darth Vader. Vader quickly kills Arana and wields the Bultar Swan lightsaber against the three surviving Jedi. Vader, along with the group of stormtrooper reinforcements, strikes down the final three Jedi from the group.
Behind the Scenes
The Bultar Swan lightsaber first appears in the movie Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002). The Bultar Swan lightsaber resembles other Clone Wars era clan sabers like the Adi Gallia lightsaber.
Hasbro has released two 3.75 inch Bultar Swan action figures, each equipped with a green-bladed lightsaber. The figures were released in 2007 and 2008 respectively.
