Jawa’s Junkyard has unveiled The Lord of Thunder lightsaber. The custom saber is inspired by the design of Mjölnir, the legendary hammer of Thor. Jawa’s Junkyard is offering The Lord of Thunder as an empty lightsaber hilt kit requiring some assembly. The hilt, which is aluminum with a leather grip section, is capable of accepting electronics.

The Lord of Thunder lightsaber hilt is comprised of a machined aluminum hilt with a sandblasted finish. The inside diameter is about 1.1 in (28 mm) and the hilt accepts a 1 in diameter blade (not included). The hilt is pre-drilled/tapped with retention screw holes and a 12 mm AV switch is included as well.
Individual laser cut leather strips will attach to the hilt as well (the buyer will attach the leather strips with glue or other chosen method). The pommel features a shallow, laser engraved emblem. A dedicated chassis will be available for purchase separately.
Finally, Jawa’s Junkyard has partnered with soundfont designer Kyberphonic Fonts to develop a special The Lord of Thunder themed smooth swing soundfont for The Lord of Thunder, which will be available as well.
